Apply and Get Vetted
Submit your application with your investment background, sector interests, and typical ticket size. Our team reviews every application to ensure a strong, aligned network.
Review Monthly Deal Flow
Each month, Wasl Angels presents 2-4 curated investment opportunities from the Al Wasl pipeline. You receive a detailed investment brief for each startup at least one week before the showcase.
Attend the Showcase
Founders pitch live to the angel network in private, structured sessions. Ask questions, challenge assumptions, and evaluate the opportunity with your fellow angels.
Invest and Support
Decide which startups to back. Sign a standard SAFE agreement directly with the founder. Stay connected through quarterly portfolio updates and ongoing founder access.

Membership
Who Can Join Wasl Angels?
Wasl Angels is open to accredited investors, experienced operators, and industry leaders who meet the following criteria:
Minimum annual investment capacity of USD $25,000 across multiple deals
Prior startup investment experience or senior operating experience in a relevant industry
Alignment with the Al Wasl values: founder-first, impact-driven, and long-term oriented
Willingness to actively contribute to the network through mentorship, introductions, or domain expertise
Based in or connected to the UAE and MENA region
What Angels Commit To
Annual membership fee of USD $1,000 (covers operations, events, and deal flow preparation)
Attendance at a minimum of 4 showcases per year (in person or virtual)
Adherence to the Wasl Angels Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreement
